Scout Programs

Sportrock offers a comprehensive rock climbing program that fulfills the requirements of the Boy Scouts of America Climbing Merit Badge. All points of the official B.S.A. Handbook are covered in a fun and safe environment. Scouts will learn the basics of top rope climbing, practice climbing, rappelling, site conservation tactics and much more!

Complete your Girl Scout High Adventure Program at Great Falls National Park.  Our Outdoor Badge Program helps you meet the requirements of your badge by teaching you the skills you need to know, practicing on the rocks, and finishing your day with spectacular views up and down Mather's Gorge as you rappel down the cliff sides!

Just wanted to climb for fun?  Sportrock offers a 2 hour session where scouts can learn top rope climbing, safety rules, climbing commands, and more all in a fun and safe environment. You have the option of learning the basic skills of climbing such as knotcraft and belaying, or simply climbing to your hearts content with our instructors. This is a great option for scouts of all climbing levels and experience.
